Create a new label that shows if the cold chain has been broken

Researchers from the Korea Chemical Technology Research Institute have developed a new temperature indicator label (TTI), capable of irreversibly indicating whether the cold chain of a packaged product has been broken
The new labels are based on nanomaterial generated by electrospinning. It is a thermoplastic polyurethane, which is also self-repairing, and is applied on a PET sheet. When the label is cold, it is opaque. When the temperature rises, if a point is exceeded, the label is irreversibly transparent, showing a symbol that indicates that its consumption may be dangerous
