New rPP labels

Avery Dennison introduces the first rPP labels. They are obtained from chemical recycling of postconsumer plastic mix by pirolisis and it is provided the petrochemical company Sabic. It consist in the initiative TRUCIRCLE™. These labels are also food contact approved.
The value chain of the rPP labels is certified by ISCC. The production will increase in 2021, when Sabic will increase the production of recycled material. For the moment, they are produced at pilot scale, and it is expected the final introduction in 2021. |
