New PLA bottle incorporating nanocellulose

The Japaneese company Green Science Alliance, has developed a new PLA based bottle incorporating nanocellulose. Thus, it has been obtained a bottle from renewable raw materials and also biodegradable.
This way, nanocellulose improves the mechanical properties. Additionally the company is also investigating the alternatives for improving the barrier properties. |
