DS Smith implements a system to quantify the humidity in paper and cardboard to recycle

The company DS Smith has developed a method of quantifying humidity in bales of paper and cardboard for recycling, which it has called "Moisture Gates", and which it is already implementing in France and Spain.
This method aims to improve the transparency, performance and quality of recycled paper. Current humidity quantification methods can be wrong, as they usually measure only external humidity. DS Smith's new method is capable of scanning the moisture of paper and cardboard inside a truck in seconds. |
