The American company Graphic Packaging International (GPI) has launched the new PaperSeal line for food packaging

These are trays consisting mainly of cardboard (80-90%), with 10-20% film, depending on the dimensions of the tray itself, which allow vacuum sealing and allow the shelf life of some foods to be extended up to 28 days.
The plastic coating can be easily removed from the cardboard to make it easier to recycle each part separately.
They are perfect for the packaging of, for example, cheese, fresh or processed meat, precooked foods, snacks, fruit or frozen foods. |
