TCL Packaging new printed ovenable films certified to 220ºC.

New printed ovenable films from TCL Packaging are the first in the UK to have been successfully tested to 220°C, 450°F Gas 7 with Smithers Pira. The company wanted to be sure no harmful molecular breakdown will occur at these high temperatures Thanks to these results, TCL is completely confident in the performance and food safety of their PET printed laminate films.
TCL’s new films use special ovenable inks that produce high-quality print using the full range of process colours. They are used for ready-meal lidding, flow- wrapping, cooking pouches and roasting bags for higher temperatures. Of course, their PET printed laminate films have received full certification from test authority Smithers Pira and exceeds requirements of current EU Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004, in relation with chemical migration from all materials and articles in contact with food. |
