Toray Plastics launches a new high barrier film based BOPP metallized

The American international company Toray Plastics has launched a new film high barrier for food packaging. It consists in a film based BOPP metallized that can be used for the production of 3 layer laminated structures, or as a substitute of the paper and aluminium foil structure.
The new film is commercially known as Torayfan PC5, and in addition to a high barrier properties for Oxygen and water vapor, it is more cost effective than aluminium foil. |
