New ultra-high barrier metallised BOPP film from Toray Films.

Toray Plastics (America) has launched a new film Torayfan PWX5, a metallised BOPP, with a high oxygen and moisture barrier which is suitable for packaging applications such as cookies, snacks, confectionery items, etc. One of the sides of PWX5 film has a ultra-high barrier to moisture, flavours and aroma and a shiny appearance whereas the other side has a stable coefficient of friction (COF) and is heat-sealable. |
