100% compostable paperboard containers with Vegemat®

Sonoco is the owner of an innovative rigid-paperboard container that can be used for the packaging of different food products by simply adjusting the material employed for making the lid (paper, plastic or metal). Recently, they have made a new movement by introducing a biodegradable lid made of Vegemat®, which let to a 100% compostable packaging.
The new paperboard container with Vegemat® lid can be easily assembled and enables to pack a great variety of food products such as cereals, sugar or flour. In addition, it can be resealed, thus favouring the conservation of the packed food. |
