DSM Smith has placed on the market a bag-in-box package suitable for the packaging of olive oil. The packaging has been designed for restaurants, where it favors the storage of large quantities of oil.
It is a more sustainable packaging than the classic bottles as it favors the reduction of weight and with it the consumption during transportation. The packaging consists of a polyethylene bag and a cardboard box that provides the barrier properties to gases and light necessary to ensure the good conservation of the oil. The incorporation of a tap facilitates consumption, avoiding losses or spills during the handling of the product. |
