Chemical recycling of PET bottles

Coca-Cola has reached an agreement with Ioniqa Technologies to facilitate the development of Ioniqa's own technology. This technology allows the chemical recycling of PET, so that Coca-Cola wants this technology to be applied to colored PET bottles that are difficult to recycle with conventional mechanical processes. Ioniqa plans to open a chemical recycling plant in the Netherlands in 2019. |
