One Crop, a biodegradable film that considerably increases the performance of cotton crops.

One Crop is a film composed of low density polymers, non-genetically modified starch and oxo-degradable compounds. It is a completely biodegradable film, designed to degrade after 90 days and decompose completely when crops are harvested. It creates a small greenhouse directly on the soil using precision machinary from Norseman Techni-Plant FL.
The cost of this system is compensated by the reduction in the use os water, the smaller amount of seed needed and the increase in soil temperature by about 7ºC, which significantly increases the yield by around 50%.
The film One Crop was initially developed for the cotton industry in Australia, but also for corn, soybeans and industrial hemp. |
