Carlsberg develops a cellulose-based bottle for beer

Carleberg has been working on the development of a cellulose bottle for beer.
At the moment there are two prototypes, one in which a thin rPET barrier has been incorporated and the other having a PEF barrier. The investigation is still ongoing with the objective of achieving a 100% cellulosic material that does not require the incorporation of polymer barriers. |
