Use of a biodegradable compound of cellulose fibers, calcium carbonate and starch. It can be processed like a normal thermoplastic.
Compostable in industrial or domestic conditions. A 3 to 5 millimeter thick spoon disintegrates in 5 months in a composter.
It has been developed by 18 companies. Meding has tested it serially. |
