It is a new additive called MevopurProTect, that gives a longer shelf life for drugs and nutritional products. It is effective scavenging the Oxygen even in a transparent monolayer. It was originally addressed to food and beverages.

Preforms with the additive do not require special storage conditions (3 months). A 500 ml monolayer bottle with 3,6% of masterbatch avoids 1ppm of Oxygen during 600 days; if not 22 days.
