Digimarc offers "watermarking" technology for plastic waste sorting.

Digimarc has been working on watermarking technology in PET trays in alliance with Paccor. In fact, Paccor launched in November the first thermoformed PET tray in which a digital watermark was incorporated. This watermark, "invisible" to the human eye, allows to incorporate a lot of information related to the package and its content and can be used, among others, to identify the material during the sorting stage for recycling. |
