Parkside launches Compostable vacuum skin pack (VSP) Film Laminate

Parkside has developed a unique compostable vacuum skin pack (VSP) laminate for The Curiosities Company’s range of cured bacon – the first pre-packed bacon available in the UK suitable for home and industrial compostable packaging, to break down within 26 weeks in a home composting environment, gaining accreditation from TUV (formerly Vincotte).
Comprising a duplex laminate manufactured from cellulose and bio-polymers, the pack extends the shelf life of the bacon thanks to its hermetic seal and high oxygen barrier design. |
