New monomaterial stand-up pouch for baby food

The Northamerican company Gerber, from Nestlé Group and producer of baby food, presented the first monomaterial spouted pouch of the sector, within an initiative for reaching the objective of being 100% reusable or recyclable for 2025.
The stand-up pouch is made of polypropylene and it has been developed by Gualapack, the leader of spouted pouches. It will be available for organic banana and mango purees in May, and its use will be expanded to other products. The pouch is recyclable through the national recycling program TerraCycle. |
