SealedAir presents new biobased packaging for perishable foods.

SealedAir (USA), in collaboration with Kuraray America, has developed new biobased packages for perishable foods such as meats and seafood, which will be marketed in the US, Canada and Mexico.
These packages are manufactured with Plantic, a biological, sustainable material that can be recycled in conventional recycling flows. The new packages provide an effective oxygen barrier contributing to the conservation of foods. In addition, apparently this materials posseses a very competitive cost. |
