3d printing works to mimic the structure of wood

Researchers at the University of Technology in Chalmers, Sweden, have used 3D printing with wood-based ink to mimic the "ultrastructure” of the wood. This research could revolutionize the manufacture of organic products. By emulating the natural cellular architecture of wood, getting its strength, hardness and properties can be interesting for use it in the packaging industry
